The new academic year will start from August 2, the Ministry of Education has released the calendar



 The Federal Ministry of Education has released the calendar for the academic session 2020-21 for federal government educational institutions. According to private TV, the notification issued by the Ministry of Education states that the new academic year will start from August 2, the duration of summer vacations has been reduced to one month from July 2 to 31. According to the notification, the fifth and eighth central examinations will be held from May 18 to 31. The first to fourth and sixth and seventh examinations will be conducted by the institutes from June 1 to 15. According to the calendar released by the Ministry of Education, the results of the fifth and eighth central examinations will be announced on June 30, while the first to fourth and seventh and eighth examinations will be announced. The results of the examinations will be announced on July 1. The Federal Minister for Education had announced on January 15, 2021 that educational institutions across the country would be opened in phases from January 18. He had said that the ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth classes would start on January 18. Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that the classes which were supposed to start on January 25 would now start from February 1. He said that higher education institutions would also be reopened from February 1. It is believed that all educational institutions were closed from March 15 last year due to corona virus, while the first case came to light in Sindh on February 26. After a six-month long shutdown, the schools reopened on September 15, but were reopened on November 26 due to the second wave of epidemics. During a period of 10 to 11 months last year. Most of the school children were either suspended or continued to study online, and a large number of students welcomed the announcement of the closure of educational institutions on November 26.
