Central Jail Peshawar Inmates Sports Festival will start from July 29 in which male and female inmates will compete in different games.   These views were expressed by Central Jail Peshawar Superintendent Maqsood Khattak while addressing the closing ceremony of the cricket tournament held on the occasion of Eid.  He said that in collaboration with the District Sports Office Peshawar and the Directorate of Sports, a sports festival would be organized next week on July 29 to attract prisoners to healthy activities in which male and female prisoners would participate in various games. ICC releases T20 rankings

  The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released a list of T20 rankings in which Babar Azam remains third in the list of batsmen. England's David Milan is first and Australia's Erin Finch is second. South Africa's Tabriz Shamsi topped the International Cricket Council's latest T20 rankings.  Earlier, the ICC had released a ranking of ODI matches, according to which India's Virat Kohli is first, India's Rohit Sharma is second and Babar Azam is third. According to figures released on the ICC website Twitter, the top eight positions in bowling are held by spinners, Afghanistan's Rashid Khan tops the list, followed by Tabriz Shamsi, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Ashton Agar, Adil Rashid and Adam.   Photo: PCB Former Test cricketer and magician league spinner Abdul Qadir was later awarded the Imtaraz Star Amitaz Award. Former Test cricketer Abdul Qadir was posthumously awarded the Sitaz Amitaz Award at a ceremony held at Governor House Lahore. The wife of the late former Test cricketer Abdul Qadir received the award from Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar. Abdul Qadir passed away in Lahore on September 6, 2019 due to a heart attack. In recognition of his services, he was awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz by President Arif Ali last year. Representing Pakistan, Abdul Qadir took 236 wickets in 67 Tests and 132 wickets in 104 ODIs. Abdul Qadir worked day and night to teach his art to his youngest son Usman Qadir. Usman Qadir could not play for Pakistan in his life but these days he has become an integral part of the national squad. Usman Qadir and his brother Salman Qadir have thanked the government for honoring their father.

Pick order for PSL draft announced

  PSL According to details, a pick order has been announced for the draft of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL). The first player in the Platinum category will be Islamabad United, the second Multan Sultans, the third Lahore Qalandars, the fourth Peshawar Zalmi, the fifth Quetta Gladiators and the last Karachi Kings. Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators will play the first, second and third rounds respectively in the selection of the second player in the Platinum category. Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmai and Karachi Kings will be the first to play in the selection of the third player in the Platinum category.
