Tokyo Olympics: Arshad Nadeem becomes first Pakistani to reach final of javelin throw

 

Pakistani contestant Arshad Nadeem has qualified for the javelin throw final at the capital of Japan Olympic Games.

 

Arshad Nadeem has become the first Pakistani contestant to succeed in the final in any track of the Olympic Games.
Arshad Nadeem was placed in group B in which the contestant needs to throw a minimum of 83.5 meters. Solely six athletes, together with Arshad Nadeem, were ready to do so.

Agreement between PITB and Chirp Technologies to make Lahore a smart city

  Punjab Information Technology Board and Chirp Technologies will work together to make Lahore a smart city. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in this regard at a function held at Arfa Tower, signed by Director General PITB Faisal Yousuf and CEO Cherp Technologies Asif Hussain.  The ceremony was attended by senior officials of both the institutions.  The new system will enable real-time monitoring and management of other smart city applications in the city, including air quality sensors, waste bin sensors and street light sensors.

Pakistan will not provide any base to US: PM Imran Khan

     Prime Minister Imran Khan refused to provide bases in Pakistan after the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. Mud volcano in Balochistan
