Hazrat Umar bin Khattab The Man Of Justice

The new year begins with the martyrdom of a great personality whom the Holy Prophet (PBUH) asked for in his prayers. It would take many months to write on the biography of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA). Even if many books were compiled, one aspect of his biography could not be described.

Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (RA) was a noble, just and just man. He was a ruler, In his court, both Muslims and non-Muslims were given equal justice,  In the ninth line of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) there are two sons of Kaab, Marah and 'Uday, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is one of the descendants of Marah, while Umar is one of the descendants of 'Uday.

Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) is the founder of the Hijri calendar, Spread over a million square miles, It was during the reign of Umar ibn al-Khattab that Jerusalem was conquered for the first time, thus bringing the entire territory of the Sassanid Empire and about a third of the Byzantine Empire under the control of the Islamic Empire.

The skill, courage and military prowess with which Umar ibn al-Khattab subdued the entire Sassanid Empire in less than two years, as well as managing his empire and boundaries, taking care of all the needs of his subjects and other The good manners and skill with which the empire was carried out are a testament to his genius.

When Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) joined the Holy Prophet (PBUH) after his conversion to Islam, he had the opportunity to migrate from Makkah to Medina, Hazrat Umar (PBUH) also agreed to this journey, He set out for Medina with the honor of passing through a group of polytheists and reaching the Ka'bah, He performed Tawaf with great satisfaction. 

Furthermore, he went out to fight, but no one dared to do so and he left for Medina, The first battle in Medina took place at Badr, In this battle, Hazrat Umar Aas ibn Hisham ibn Mughira, who was his uncle in the relationship, was sent to hell with the dagger of Hazrat Umar (RA), This is one of the characteristics of Hazrat Umar (RA) Absolutely not affected, the killing of Aas at your hands is a clear example of this.

The battlefield of Badr remained in the hands of the Muslims, more or less seventy men of booty were killed and almost as many were captured, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sought the opinion of all the companions, and the people gave different opinions, That each of us should kill our loved one with our own hands, behead Ali Aqeel and do all that is dear to him.

The glory of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) left Abu Bakr with his opinion and ransom. He did not like this thing in the sight of Allah, Have prisoners until they shed blood.

After the Battle of Badr, the Battle of Uhud, the Battle of Handle, the Peace of Hudaybiyah, the Battle of Khyber, the Conquest of Makkah, he took an active part in all the battles and sacrificed everything for the glory of Islam, When Umar Farooq became the caliph, the claimants of prophethood, the apostate Arabs and the deniers of Zakat had been eliminated during the reign of the former caliph and the conquests of the country had begun, I invaded Syria and the Islamic forces spread to the border districts.

These campaigns were just the beginning when the caliph of the time died, When Hazrat Umar took over the Annan government, his most important duty was to carry out these campaigns. During the caliphate of Hazrat Umar Farooq, Iraq, Syria and Egypt were conquered.

There was no permanent treasury before the caliphate of Farooq; rather, whatever came was distributed at that time, A narration from Ibn Sa'd shows that Abu Bakr had reserved a house for the treasury, It was always closed, and it was not his turn to put anything in it, so when the treasury was inspected at the time of his death, only one Durham came out.

Hazrat Umar felt the need for a future treasury in about 15 AH and after the approval of the Majlis-e-Shura, he established a huge treasury in Medina, Its branches were established in all districts and provinces except Dar-ul-Khilafah, Separate officers were appointed, such as Khalid ibn Harith in Isfahan and Abdullah ibn Mas'ud in Kufa. That is to say, it was transferred to the treasury of Medina.

The most prominent attribute of the Khalifa during the time of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) is justice and fairness, In his era, the highest level of justice was never exceeded, The son of Abdullah, killed a man for no reason, Umar whipped him with the same blow. Umar ibn al-'Aas was also present. He slapped a man in the Tawaf of K. He also gave an equal answer, Jabala complained to Hazrat Umar, and he replied that Jabala was surprised by this answer and fled to Constantinople in apostasy.

When Umar fixed the salaries of the people, he fixed the salary of Osama bin Zayd, who was the son of the beloved slave of the Prophet (peace be upon him), more than that of his son Abdullah. We are not superior in this matter, Hazrat Umar said: Yes! But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) loved Osama more than you. 

Farooqi's scope of justice was not limited to Muslims; his court of justice was the same for Muslims, Jews, and Christians alike. Therefore, the person whose name was Haneen was handed over to the heir of the slain person, and he killed him in revenge of the slain Aziz.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said about Hazrat Umar Farooq (ra) that my ummah has the strictest age in the matter of the religion of Allah, and said that Gabriel and Michael are my two heavenly ministers while Abu Bakr and Umar are my There are two land ministers.

The martyrdom of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA) is a wound for the world of Islam that can never be healed.
