Pick order for PSL draft announced

According to details, a pick order has been announced for the draft of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The first player in the Platinum category will be Islamabad United, the second Multan Sultans, the third Lahore Qalandars, the fourth Peshawar Zalmi, the fifth Quetta Gladiators and the last Karachi Kings.

Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators will play the first, second and third rounds respectively in the selection of the second player in the Platinum category.

Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmai and Karachi Kings will be the first to play in the selection of the third player in the Platinum category.

Multan Sultans will be the first player in the selection of the first player of the Diamond category, Quetta Gladiators will be the first player in the selection of the second player and Karachi Kings will be the first player in the selection of the third player.

Lahore Qalandars will be the first to select the first player of the gold category, Karachi Kings will be the first to select the second player and Lahore Qalandars will be the first to select the third player again.

The first time in the selection of the first player of Silver category, Karachi Kings, the first time in the selection of the second player, Lahore Qalandars, the first time in the selection of the third player, Peshawar Zalmi, the first time in the selection of the fourth player, Islamabad United and the first time in the selection of the fifth player. Karachi will belong to the Kings.

Quetta Gladiators will be the first to select the first player in the emerging category and Lahore Qalandars will be the first to select the second player.

Quetta Gladiators will be the first to select the first player in the supplementary category and Peshawar Zalmi will be the first to select the second player.

It should be noted that the drafting of the sixth edition of PSL is expected next January.

Agreement between PITB and Chirp Technologies to make Lahore a smart city

  Punjab Information Technology Board and Chirp Technologies will work together to make Lahore a smart city. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in this regard at a function held at Arfa Tower, signed by Director General PITB Faisal Yousuf and CEO Cherp Technologies Asif Hussain.  The ceremony was attended by senior officials of both the institutions.  The new system will enable real-time monitoring and management of other smart city applications in the city, including air quality sensors, waste bin sensors and street light sensors.

Pakistan will not provide any base to US: PM Imran Khan

     Prime Minister Imran Khan refused to provide bases in Pakistan after the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. In an interview with an American TV channel, he said that it was not possible for Pakistan to allow the CIA or US special forces to carry out any operation in Afghanistan from Pakistani soil. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the United States wanted to sit in other countries and keep an eye on the militants during the withdrawal from Afghanistan, so it was in talks with Pakistan for cooperation.  A few days before Prime Minister Imran Khan's interview, Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry had termed the news of US Air Base in Pakistan as baseless and said that there was no truth in such allegations. Mud volcano in Balochistan

  So far 18 mudflats or mud volcanoes have been discovered in Balochistan. One of them, Chandra Gupta, said to be the world's tallest mud volcano.
