India: Heavy rains kill several people


 Rescue operations are facing difficulties due to heavy rains


  Heavy rains within the western Indian state of Maharashtra have killed a minimum of one hundred ten individuals in landslides and floods.


Rescuers are attempting to evacuate survivors, but several area unit is still missing. The Indian Army is aiding relief employees in these efforts who were facing severe difficulties because of the dire scenario.


The state has recorded such serious rains within the month of July when decades. Several factors have contributed to the flooding, however consultants say global warming is increasing the chance of heavy rainfall.


Most of the deaths were because of landslides and floods within the 2 districts, Indian official said on Friday. The landslide has utterly destroyed the tiny village of Talia, southeast city of Mumbai . A minimum of forty-two individuals were killed within the village, a government official has told Reuters.
