What is cloud burst and when does it occur

Cloud bursts occur when the wind blows upwards during rain.

According to a study, due to cloud burst, raindrops do not fall on the ground and a large amount of water accumulates at high altitudes. As the air pressure decreases, the water flows down like a waterfall.
According to the Meteorological Department, there are different definitions of cloud burst.
The Swedish Meteorological Department has set a definition of cloudburst at 50 millimeters per hour, but some sources say 100 millimeters of rain per hour is also called cloudburst.
A study has found that cloudburst is a very dangerous natural phenomenon because it causes sudden flash floods and there is a risk of large-scale loss of life and property.
It should be noted that even 20 years ago today, Islamabad received 620 mm of rain in 12 hours.
The highest rainfall in an hour was recorded in Ladakh region of India where in 2010 it received 250 mm of rain in an hour.
The heaviest rainfall in 24 hours was recorded on the French-administered island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean at 1870 mm.
