Are educational institutions closing or not? Important statement of Shafqat Mahmood

 


Pakistan's Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood has said that the intensity of the third wave of Corona is increasing, but the health of children is most important in this regard.


According to details, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood in his message on social networking website Twitter said that the meeting of provincial ministers in NCOC will be held on March 24 in which provincial ministers of health and education will participate.

Shafqat Mahmood said that the health of students, teachers and teaching staff was the top priority while a meeting with provincial ministers would decide on the closure of educational institutions.


Due to the increasing cases of corona virus in the country, important decisions are expected in today's meeting of the NCOC.


The meeting will consider a proposal to close schools that have been opened for examinations, including a decision to increase the Smart Lockdown to curb the spread of Corona.

Agreement between PITB and Chirp Technologies to make Lahore a smart city

  Punjab Information Technology Board and Chirp Technologies will work together to make Lahore a smart city. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in this regard at a function held at Arfa Tower, signed by Director General PITB Faisal Yousuf and CEO Cherp Technologies Asif Hussain.  The ceremony was attended by senior officials of both the institutions.  The new system will enable real-time monitoring and management of other smart city applications in the city, including air quality sensors, waste bin sensors and street light sensors.

Pakistan will not provide any base to US: PM Imran Khan

     Prime Minister Imran Khan refused to provide bases in Pakistan after the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. In an interview with an American TV channel, he said that it was not possible for Pakistan to allow the CIA or US special forces to carry out any operation in Afghanistan from Pakistani soil. Mud volcano in Balochistan
