Federal decision to control hospitals is illegal: Sindh government

 


The Sindh government termed the decision of the federation to take over three major hospitals in the province as contrary to the court's decision.

In this regard, it has been decided to write a letter to the federal government in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

Addressing the Sindh meeting, the Chief Minister termed the control of three major hospitals including Jinnah Hospital, National Institute of Cardiology and National Institute of Pediatrics through the Board of Governors as contrary to the court's decision and said that the federal decision would facilitate treatment. Will be affected

Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government has worked hard to make these three major hospitals the best institutions and has been bearing all the expenses since 2011.

He further said that these hospitals receive patients from all over Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh who are provided free and best treatment facilities.

The Chief Minister said that the Sindh government has an excellent plan to run these hospitals and if these hospitals go to the federation, the ongoing treatment facilities would be affected.
