According to sources, Special Assistant for Political Relations Shahbaz Gul said in his statement that 2016 276,266 was spent on former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's visit to Sri Lanka in 2016.


Shahbaz Gul added that Prime Minister Imran Khan's 2021 visit to Sri Lanka cost only 14 14,800, which is Rs. 2,351,720 in Pakistani currency.


It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan paid a two-day visit to Sri Lanka which ended yesterday. During the visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan also met the Sri Lankan President, Prime Minister and business delegations there.

Agreement between PITB and Chirp Technologies to make Lahore a smart city

  Punjab Information Technology Board and Chirp Technologies will work together to make Lahore a smart city. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in this regard at a function held at Arfa Tower, signed by Director General PITB Faisal Yousuf and CEO Cherp Technologies Asif Hussain.  The ceremony was attended by senior officials of both the institutions.  The new system will enable real-time monitoring and management of other smart city applications in the city, including air quality sensors, waste bin sensors and street light sensors.

Pakistan will not provide any base to US: PM Imran Khan

     Prime Minister Imran Khan refused to provide bases in Pakistan after the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. In an interview with an American TV channel, he said that it was not possible for Pakistan to allow the CIA or US special forces to carry out any operation in Afghanistan from Pakistani soil. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the United States wanted to sit in other countries and keep an eye on the militants during the withdrawal from Afghanistan, so it was in talks with Pakistan for cooperation.  A few days before Prime Minister Imran Khan's interview, Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry had termed the news of US Air Base in Pakistan as baseless and said that there was no truth in such allegations. Mud volcano in Balochistan

  So far 18 mudflats or mud volcanoes have been discovered in Balochistan. One of them, Chandra Gupta, said to be the world's tallest mud volcano.
