Pakistan Railways: International Goods Train Service Restored After 12 Years

 


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has restored international goods train service. International goods train service has been restored after a long hiatus of 12 years.


 In this regard, the responsible sources of Pakistan Railways have said that the International Goods Train Service will be run between Pakistan and Turkey from March 4, 2021.


According to sources, the first international goods train from Turkey will reach Karachi in two weeks. The train will cover a total distance of 8,490 km in two weeks.

 According to Pakistan Railways sources, the train from Turkey will reach Karachi via Iran, Zahedan, Quetta and Rohri.


According to sources, the international goods train arriving in Pakistan from Turkey will bring electronics for domestic use, after which the train will leave Karachi for Turkey in March.
