Rising Corona: Lockdown enforced in more areas of Karachi

 


In view of increasing cases of Corona, smart lockdown has been implemented in more areas of Central District. The lockdown will be implemented till April 8. Increased and implemented Smart Lockdown in more areas of Central District. It has been decided to launch Micro Smart Lockdown in different areas of 4th Division of Central District.

 The lockdown will be enforced till April 8. According to the notification, the lockdown has been imposed on residential units in North Karachi, North Nazimabad, Gulberg, Liaquatabad and 5 USC areas on the indication of the hotspot by the District Health Officer. The notification said that unnecessary movement of people in the affected areas and double riding would be banned. The notification said that all business and industrial activities in the area would be suspended and positive people would be quarantined in their homes while measures to distribute rations to deserving people in affected areas Will be done.

Agreement between PITB and Chirp Technologies to make Lahore a smart city

  Punjab Information Technology Board and Chirp Technologies will work together to make Lahore a smart city. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in this regard at a function held at Arfa Tower, signed by Director General PITB Faisal Yousuf and CEO Cherp Technologies Asif Hussain.  The ceremony was attended by senior officials of both the institutions.  The new system will enable real-time monitoring and management of other smart city applications in the city, including air quality sensors, waste bin sensors and street light sensors.

Pakistan will not provide any base to US: PM Imran Khan

     Prime Minister Imran Khan refused to provide bases in Pakistan after the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. In an interview with an American TV channel, he said that it was not possible for Pakistan to allow the CIA or US special forces to carry out any operation in Afghanistan from Pakistani soil. Mud volcano in Balochistan
