Corona vaccination target for 40% of the population by the end of August

The total number of vaccines so far has exceeded two and a half crore. It is planned to further accelerate the vaccination process for August, Tweet of Asad Omar.





The National Command and Operations Center has set a target of corona vaccination for 40% of the population by the end of August. According to the details, the head of NCOC Asad Umar said that the total number of vaccines administered so far has exceeded two and a half crore, thus the total number of vaccinators has now crossed 20 million.

In a statement released on the social networking site Twitter, he said there were plans to speed up the vaccination process for August, and that by the end of August all major cities had set a target of at least 40 per cent of the population should be vaccinated.

The global corona virus has killed 45 more people in Pakistan, bringing the total number of deaths from corona in the country to 23,016 so far, according to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center it has been reported that during the last 24 hours, 2,819 more cases of Corona were reported in the country, bringing the total number of Corona cases in the country to 1,04,694, while the rate of Corona positive cases in Pakistan in the last 24 hours. 6.32 percent where 37,690 new tests were done and the number of active corona cases in the country has reached 55,720.

According to the NCOC, the number of cases of corona in Sindh province in Pakistan has reached 364,784. In the federal capital Islamabad, the number is reported to be 85,519 similarly, in Balochistan province, Corona has affected 29,494 people.

The NCOC further said that the highest number of deaths due to corona virus in Pakistan was in Punjab province where 10,939 people have lost their lives so far while 5,814 people have died of corona in Sindh province the death toll in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 4,417. In the federal capital Islamabad, 792 lives have been lost in Corona, 122 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 322 in Balochistan and 610 in Azad Kashmir.

Agreement between PITB and Chirp Technologies to make Lahore a smart city

  Punjab Information Technology Board and Chirp Technologies will work together to make Lahore a smart city. Pakistan will not provide any base to US: PM Imran Khan

Mud volcano in Balochistan
