Corona virus killed 16 more people in Pakistan

  


  Corona virus killed 16 more people in Pakistan today, bringing the death toll to 22,593.

The total number of deaths from the corona virus has risen to 22,593 across the country.



According to the statistics of coronavirus deaths in Pakistan, 5607 people died in Sindh, 317 in Balochistan, 4362 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 594 in Azad Kashmir, 783 in Islamabad, 111 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 10819 in Punjab.



Earlier, the Punjab Health Department said in a statement that four patients died of corona virus in Punjab today, bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 10819.

Agreement between PITB and Chirp Technologies to make Lahore a smart city

  Punjab Information Technology Board and Chirp Technologies will work together to make Lahore a smart city. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in this regard at a function held at Arfa Tower, signed by Director General PITB Faisal Yousuf and CEO Cherp Technologies Asif Hussain.  The ceremony was attended by senior officials of both the institutions.  The new system will enable real-time monitoring and management of other smart city applications in the city, including air quality sensors, waste bin sensors and street light sensors.

Pakistan will not provide any base to US: PM Imran Khan

     Prime Minister Imran Khan refused to provide bases in Pakistan after the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. In an interview with an American TV channel, he said that it was not possible for Pakistan to allow the CIA or US special forces to carry out any operation in Afghanistan from Pakistani soil. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the United States wanted to sit in other countries and keep an eye on the militants during the withdrawal from Afghanistan, so it was in talks with Pakistan for cooperation.  A few days before Prime Minister Imran Khan's interview, Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry had termed the news of US Air Base in Pakistan as baseless and said that there was no truth in such allegations. Mud volcano in Balochistan
