Decision to lock down in different areas of Islamabad

  The district administration has decided to lock down various areas in the federal capital Islamabad in view of the increase in cases of the global epidemic corona virus. According to a statement issued by the Islamabad administration, the lockdown areas include DHA Two, Sawan Garden and PWD. Besides, lockdown has also been decided in Bara Kahu, Sector G6, G10 and G8 areas. According to the announcement, lockdown will be enforced in the affected areas from 12 noon tonight.

Decision to reclose shrines in Sindh

The decision to close the shrine was taken at a meeting chaired by Minister for Endowments Sohail Anwar Sial on Saturday, March 27, while the wedding of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar was also canceled. The decision was made due to the spread of Karuna in Sindh. The shrines will be closed from March 28 to April 8. It may be recalled that the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan was opened to the public on March 24 under strict SOPs. Lal Shahbaz Qalandar's Urs was to start from 18 Shaban. Earlier, the shrine was closed on March 15 due to the third wave of Corona. The Sindh government had also canceled the annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar last year due to the Karuna epidemic.
